Our Story

Our story began as a pick-your-own produce farm, started by our founder, John Hill in 1968.

Over the years we have gradually moved our focus to providing fun, family-friendly activities for those who visit with us. We continue to keep a lot of our activities farm-themed in order to educate children about farm life while still having fun! Children love experiencing the scenic, covered wagon ride pulled by one of our Massey Ferguson tractors. We have a free-range pasture filled with goats, sheep, pigs, turkeys, ducks, and chickens that are always entertaining to watch. 

   

We offer festivals and activities throughout the year to celebrate every season. During the summer we have a splash pad perfect for cooling off the kids, and Mom and Dad too! Don't miss our Sunflower Festival every summer! Fall brings cooler weather and lots of FREE PUMPKINS at our farm! We have partnered with some of our local farmers for over 25 years to bring pumpkins from both North Carolina and Virginia to provide every customer a free pumpkin during our annual Fall Festival.

After all that fall fun, we head right into the most wonderful time of the year... Christmas! Starting Thanksgiving Night, our Festival of Lights begins. Enjoy a magical covered wagon ride through millions of lights and holiday displays. You will hear all of your favorite classic Christmas carols during the 25-minute ride, all timed perfectly with each handcrafted display.

     

We are located in Franklin County in Youngsville, North Carolina. Our family has called the small but quickly growing town of Youngsville our home for over 100 years. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary at the farm in 2018! Our 60th Anniversary is right around the corner.
